| Remembering you and all the things that made you unique. I pray that these memories do not diminish with time as I call upon them from time to time when I need to laugh or smile. You are a good friend and thank you for being a part of my life. My prayers go out to your family on this day to give them peace and comfort. |

| Thinking of you, Craig, as always this time of year. We've decided your birthday is WAY more important than the day you left us, because we are so glad you were here. Both of our boys were summer babies, too; what a wonderful time to be born. So, thinking of you and thankful for the gift of your friendship. Much love to your dear family, too. |

| As a media production student at the University of Iowa, it was difficult to book time in the studios to work on your video and CD projects. Fueled by coffee or cigarettes, it was often a solitary venture late into the night and next day.
Some of my fondest memories of Craig take place in the second floor halls of the Becker Communications building on campus, often just the two of us working into the early morning hours, taking a break from time-to-time to chat, discuss our projects and just keep each other sane. I vividly recall the first time Craig told me about this girl that he had just met and was crazy about. Amber. If you were to judge my friendship with Craig by the intimacy of those late night discussions, you would think we were best friends. We werenít; casual friends at best. But, I think that was one of the most remarkable things about Craig ñ he had an open heart. He shared himself and truly cared for others on a level that many people never reach. I feel lucky to have had Craig in my life. For those of you reading this, you surely feel the same. |

| I feel you loss more than ever. I am currently in a production called "Most Dangerous Women", where I play you Amber. I read your letter to President Bush, and it is so heartfelt. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

| I knew of your loss after that final day, seeing your name in the media reports. I don't know if we were somehow related or not. My family is from rural Minnesota, and Wisconsin.
Thank you for serving my country, I'm sorry that you paid the ultimate sacrifice -- but I will never forget! Lou Amundson, Eagle River, Alaska |

I knew you as a teen, but not as a fellow soldier, or father. As I look into my own childrens faces, I hope nothing like this will never happen again. Two of the pilots I went to flight school were killed a few months ago. I often think of those we have lost and will have to wait to see again. Lieutenant Brent Hilzendager A. Co 106th Aviation Bn. | Just wanted to let you all know that we thought of each of you on Craig's birthday. We worried that it would be a difficult day for you, and we prayed for you. Most of all, we felt thankful to have known Craig for those brief years in Virginia. We were lucky to have crossed paths with such a great guy (and his wonderful family). He'll always be a friend. |
